Where can I park?
Unfortunately, only residents are now allowed to park in Brno city centre. We suggest using paid parking at newly built parking garages by the Janáček theatre located approximately 5 minutes on foot from us:
You can as well take a shortcut through the Governor’s Palace and the adjacent park, but please bear in mind that the passage might be, especially during winter and late at night, closed.
Do we serve breakfast?
All our guests are always welcome to make use of our beloved coffee machine with freshly ground coffee, tea or hot chocolate. You can also pre-order your breakfast (served from 07:30 – 10:30) which takes form of a buffet with freshly baked pastry, cereals, cold cuts, cheese and cream cheese, jams, chocolate spread, butter, yoghurts and fresh orange juice. No eggs, sausages or bacon, sorry. The price is 150 CZK per person and the latest time to order is upon your check-in. We might be able to make an exception and let you in even in the morning, but we need to make sure we have enough for everybody who have pre-ordered. Alternatively, we can, and very happily will, recommend a good place to eat at nearby coffee houses.
I booked a room “with shared bathroom”. What does it mean?
These rooms are not furnished with a private bathroom as it is shared between several rooms. However, your comfort is a priority for us, so you do not need to worry about queuing for a shower – there is always enough.
Will you ask me to provide any travel documents?
Yes, we will. We cannot accommodate you without a valid document (ID, passport, U.S. driving license).
Can I arrange for an early check-in?
If you’ve booked via our website, you can come to check in anytime from 2 PM. Otherwise the check-in starts at 3 PM and usually it is not possible to be checked in earlier. If you arrive before 3 PM, we will ask you to patiently wait in the common area. A situation may occur in which your room will be already prepared – in that case we will not keep you waiting, of course.
Is it alright to check in after midnight?
Not really. Reception closes at midnight and we deal with each inquiry about checking in late individually. If you have a booking and already know you are coming late, get in touch with us so we can find a solution. If you do not let us know and still come late, you will not be able to get inside and you will not be accommodated.
What time do I need to check out?
All guests need to check out before 11AM. Possible exceptions need to be discussed at the reception desk.
Can I book a room where smoking is allowed?
Smoking is prohibited on all our premises, including all rooms, apartments, common areas, staircases and hallways. You will be kindly asked to have a smoke outside, or you can use a terrace, if you booked an apartment with one.
Do you provide storage room?
Yes, we do. You can leave your luggage with us and pick it up any time before midnight of the day of your departure. However, keep in mind that the capacity is limited and cannot be always guaranteed.
